Cameras and lenses

I think I loved gadgets, and cameras in particular, before I remembered how much I love nature. I still have a massive obsession with my first camera love, Pentax. I have owned many, if not most, of the digital SLRs produced by them. Of all the brands, I know them best.
Of the Pentax bodies I own I mainly use a Pentax 645z medium format camera, and the fabulous Pentax K1. I did own the K3iii for some time (brilliant camera), but since getting an OM System OM1 and the brilliant 300mm pro lens, I found myself using it less and less, so I did what I always do, sold it to fund the next thing.
I have one rule when selling kit, if it is common and easy to come by, and I'm even thinking of selling it, I sell it. If it isn't so common I'm far more likely to keep it unless it never gets used. The big 645 600mm is constantly teetering on and around that area, not super rare but relatively hard to find in the UK, but huge weight limits its use. For now it stays, even if it is a cupboard hog!
I've used mirrorless Sony FF and APSC but always found myself coming back to Pentax, until I got the OM1 and 300mm - that was a game changer. Light, fast and quiet, with almost as good IQ. So often on a nature walk that is my companion along with the excellent 1.4 tc.
My love affair extends to older film era cameras as well, as you can see! Many of which have been handed down to me from family members - not used much but I love looking at them...
How bad is your camera or lens obsession?
